Tobias Dahl

Since I was in my early teens I've been interested in coding, games and technology and I started my journey at a young age with programming webpages in HTML and CSS. I also started using Photoshop around this time to deal with the layout and graphics on the site. 

A game I was playing around this time was Tibia, and a new product that came out was OpenTibia, a fan created private version of the game where anyone could download and host a OpenTibia server. Me and a few friends created one of these servers and I created a webpage and started to work with the MySQL database where people's accounts and information was stored. I also had my first try at LUA scripting with decent results, creating small quests and custom spells.

After a while with different Tibia servers and playing different games, I applied to a game programming high school in Varberg called LBS where I got to learn C++, XNA, Maya, Zbrush and other tools, where I took a liking to programming, helped on by my great programming and math teachers.

The next step was BTH, where I spent 5 years learning about computer programming, math, physics, game design, interface design, scripting, hardware limitations, memory management, group projects, leadership skills and so much more. It's some of the most rewarding and stressfull years of my life. I met many interesting people and friends there while studying a hobby we all had in common.
